textile experiments…
i printed a bunch of my blocks on fabric today - i was quite surprised with how evenly they printed. really happy with the turnout!
i took a bunch of photos, but it was rather hard to capture the “fabricness” of them on camera (it just looked like paper) - so here’s a shot of one artfully draped over the drying rack & a close-up.
fun times!
Love your work.

I don’t have boobies but I can sympathize FOR you ladies. Flaps out. We don’t care.

Your piece is one of my all time favorite prints. The detail is amazing.
Wooden LEGO blocks by Mokurokku
Japanese firm Mokurokku hopes to get you feel closer to nature with their new wooden bricks.
Each box of mokulock bricks is priced at ¥2,835/USD31 and includes 50 pieces. they seem to be compatible with standard LEGO pieces, and we would want to see sets of mixed plastic and wood construction on different textures and colors. the mokurukku set has a disclaimer that the pieces can warp or fit together imprecisely due to the nature of the material in different temperatures and scale of humidity..
James, can you make these for me? #handmaderiot

It’s done!!!! Presenting our first Hugelkultur bed!!! The first step was taking out the grass, then placing all the logs, then branches and our Christmas tree, then mulch (not shown) and organic straw (not shown, they were done at night :) ) followed by a layer of compost and then finally a layer of premium (purchased) dirt on the very top.
Jeffrey built a little broken concrete wall around it as well to help keep the dirt in a bit because of all our rain. We got it from a house that we had gotten some dirt for our other beds… he’s quite resourceful that one.
I am so excited to see how this one grows compared to our other beds. We have some baby sprouts coming up in the mini polytunnel and some lettuce and fava beans coming up in another box.
We also got the light up inside a closet and got all the post-frost seeds going. We planted three types of onions, herbs, tomatoes, eggplants and peppers.

- Reduced need for pesticides
- Less labor intensive
- Increased soil water storage
